How Long do you play for?

We usually play from about 8:00pm until midnight with a 30 min break.

Do you play ceilidh music?

The band can provide 30 minutes worth of ceilidh music but this will not be played live. We can still call the dances etc.

Can you provide music during the break?

Yes, we have some top of the range DJ equipment which we bring to each show so we can either play quieter music to let your guests converse during the buffet or we can keep the party going, your choice!

Can you learn our first dance?

Yes, we are happy to learn your first dance as long as we are given at least 2 months notice.

Are you able to play for half of the night? as we’ve also booked a DJ

We offer a complimentary DJ service with every booking, so if you wanted us to DJ for the last hour or so then we are happy to do this at no extra cost.

Our venue is open till 1 am, would you play till then?

The band will usually finish at midnight but we will be happy to DJ for the last hour of your evening at no extra cost (most other bands will charge an expensive hourly rate past midnight!)

Do you use backing tracks?

No, we pride ourselves on being a 100% LIVE band

Do you require a deposit?

Yes a deposit would be required to confirm your booking. This is non-refundable if the event is cancelled.

When would you require payment?

We would prefer to receive payment before we start playing. This can be payment on the night when we arrive or say, 7 days beforehand. whatever suits you best.

How long do you take to set up?

We usually take around 45mins to get set up and have a soundcheck. We would then take about 15 mins to freshen up/get changed etc.

What do you wear?

You don’t have to worry about some scruffy musicians turning up on your big day, we all dress very smart and make sure no attention is distracted from the happy couple.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance? and is your equipment PAT tested?

Yes, if your venue requires copies of our certificates then let us know and we’ll happily take care of it.

Do you do other events?

Yes, we can play at any event as long as the venue can cater for a live band, again just contact us if you have any queries.
